"That Awkward Moment", a Reverse Spin on "Sex and the City"

Last weekend my boyfriend took me to Zac Efron in his latest film, 'That Awkward Moment'.

I had seen the commercials and all the TV interviews, but I still wasn't exactly sure what to expect. This film was supposed to be about what guys do when girls aren't around and what guys really talk about, but where's the story line in that?

Ultimately it was about three guys in about their late twenties living in New York City with great jobs and going out frequently to pick up girls. Sound a bit familiar? In my opinion it reminded me a lot of 'Sex and the City' just with men instead of women.

I thought it was a pretty interesting take, even though a lot of stuff was unrealistic, like the size of their apartments in New York City, but still I enjoyed it. This movie was humorous, and yes, a bit awkward to watch at times. But there is a story line for each character that you don't see in any of the commercials, and even though you can predict the ending for each it's still cute and a fun movie to watch. However I suggest seeing this movie with your girlfriends and not really your boyfriend, or your mom.

Peanut Butter Apple Dip

Okay I eat this multiple times a week because it's literally so good! I use Justin's Peanut Butter (vanilla or honey or whatever flavor you want, I've even tried almond butter which works great too), organic Stonyfield plain yogurt, and just a touch of honey! Than I mix it all up and dip apples in it, and sometimes eat it just with a spoon because that's how good it is. It's simple, healthy, and taste great! Literally my go to snack whenever I'm home. I'm trying to make a lifestyle change, the cliche trying to 'get healthier' and be healthier. I'm not looking so much for weight loss, even though that's an added plus, but what I really want is to finally tone up. My entire life I've always killed myself with cardio and would wonder why I never looked that great. Well now I know why, so that's my goal, get healthier and leaner.

Birthday Cakes 4 Free, Nautical Themed Cupcakes

Nothing fancy, but this was a last minute request for the not for profit I volunteer for, Birthday Cakes 4 Free, Middlesex County, Connecticut . I got this request from a girl's mom who said her daughter wanted a white cake with blue frosting and something nautical themed. I only had four days, but I think they came out kind of cute. I got almost all my supplies off Amazon Prime. Everything but the ingredients for the cake and frosting, but Amazon Prime saved me so much time and money and stress because all I had to do was go to my local grocery store instead of also going out of my way looking for craft store supplies, which probably would have left me checking multiple stores, while Amazon had everything in one place with free two day shipping.
